David P. (Mack) Schrecengost of Kittanning RD 1 died at 10:45 a.m. Monday, April 23, 1953, as the result of a stroke suffered two weeks ago. He was aged 74 years, one month and one day. He was born in Kittanning Twp., a son of Andrew and Susan (Schrecengost) Schrecengost. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Hazel (Olinger) Schrecengost; two daughters, Mrs. Ernest Potter and Mrs. Ray Boarts, both of Kittanning RD 1; six grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Ida Waugaman and Mrs. Mary Stivason, both of Kittanning RD 5. Friends will be received in the Lynch funeral home where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday. Dr. Elmer F. Rice of Manorville Lutheran parish will officiate. Burial will be made in Kittanning cemetery.
